His journey began in the realm he calls Wonder. As a child, he sketched fantastical worlds in the margins of school notebooks before exploring an ever-expanding range of artistic disciplines: modeling clay, carving stone and wood, casting bronze, welding iron, crafting stained glass, and assembling sculptures from discarded materials salvaged from junkyards. This hands-on exploration of form and matter laid the foundation for a lifelong pursuit of transformation through art.

Crossing the ocean during the dawn of the digital revolution, Lazzaro immersed himself in the creative energy of Venice Beach, California, where the arrival of the iMac G3 and affordable MiniDV cameras opened new frontiers for independent creators. There, he embraced emerging technologies as artistic tools, expanding his practice into filmmaking, digital arts, virtual worlds, and the early foundations of what would later become the Metaverse.

Throughout this evolution, one thread remained constant: the search for the Imaginal—the fertile territory where imagination shapes reality and stories become gateways to deeper meaning.
